As a State of Oregon non-profit corporation, our vision is to encourage the physical, emotional, and mental health of adults on the Oregon coast by creating definitive fitness programs and wellness services in support of community health centers. We will accomplish this by: 1) delivering affordable fitness services in partnership with local community centers, 2) offering personalized supplemental in-person and virtual health coaching, and 3) integrating existing technology solutions that support a hybrid approach to meet individual community member health goals. Our particular focus is on Seniors with balance issues, arthritis, and other morbidities.

Certified Personal Training

 

NASM Certified Personal Trainer (CPT), Senior Fitness Specialist (SFS), Stretching & Flexibility Coach (SFC).

Evidence-based: for seniors, we focus on the Stabilization and Strength Endurance phases of the NASM OPT™ Model as well as strengthening functional movements for daily living.

 

Service delivery: In-person community facility, remote, in-person at-home, or hybrid.

TJQMBB Fall Prevention

TJQMBB is a research-based balance training regimen adapted from traditional Tai Chi for older adults at risk of falling and people with balance disorders. We are trained community Instructors.

WINTER REGISTRATION: The Winter term starts on Jan. 9th, 2024. Register at the Tillamook YMCA. Free for Adults. This is the first half of the full TJQMBB 24 week therapeutic program.
